'I first learned to do linocuts at approximately 18 years old. I loved the crisp contrast between the paper and coloured ink. I loved the crisp edges that this style could create.
I found this style therapeutic. I love the planning it requires but also the challenge it brings and how the inking can create its own unexpected form.
I particularly like the physicality of the form as though the art demands my attention'
